What kind of name is "Logrus?"
Hello Everyone,
I'm Logrus, most people just call me ~L. I like long walks on the beach, fuzzy bunnies, and Coffee. Ok, so I'm kidding about the first too, but not the last one, I really do have an obsession with coffee.
For those wondering if I'm strict or not, well that depends, I used to moderate the section in off-topic, and I'm used to dealing with people flinging stuff around, however when things start to get nasty, or personal, thats one of the few places I flat out draw the line. I'll start by editing your posts, to things in pretty pink, that say embarrasing things like, "I love pink unicorns".
Oh, and in regards to my user name? Logrus, is the symbol for chaos, its from one of my favorite Sci-Fi books.

Well Being from a Spanish Loving Coffee Country. I can find you the best coffee around. Not that Colombian thing the true thing. My familiy comes from a long generation of coffe plantation owners so anytime u want some of the good stuff tell me.
From another coffee loving addict

I'm Utterly Disgusted at the present situation of events. The injustice that has taken place and the way things have gotten out of hand by both parts. But I'm more disgusted at the way that things are being handled.

Coffee is one of the few things in life that I will do just about anything for. That probably explains why I'm so short though.

Hey! my sister in law is colombian and let me tell you having spent time in Bogota and Cartegena they coffee there is awesome.
That said Ii once took a ferry from Spain over to Morocco and I got a coffee on borad that was just about the best I ever had so let's call it a draw and all laugh at those philistines who drink costa rican eh

Wow It will be unusual to see pink unicorns in my posts without taking drugs
On the subject of sci-fi are we talking say warhammer grey knight stuff or say classic Simon R. Green?
Something cerebral like Frank herbert or Isaac Asimov
Or perhaps you delve into the fantasy realm as well?
Steeven Erikson perhaps?
ok I just typed in the wrong place but I'm blaming the pink unicorns

There, I fixed that little oops for yah
I am a big Frank Herbert fan, as well as a fan of Orson Scott Card, I love the Ender's Game series.
Lately I haven't had much time for reading things that aren't related to school. My prof's at college keep me on my toes.
I have branched out a little bit, though other than my favorites, and am always willing to try new books, and series.

I would highly recommend Steeven Erikdon's Malazan book of the fallen.
Some people have a hard time getting past "Gardens of the moon" the 1st one but after that and they take on board the unusual concepts and writing style which can swing wildly from blunt humour to prose, everybody that I have recommended them to has become a diehard fan.
Very original in a genre where most simply rehash past works of better writers.
Sounds interesting, I'll have to take a look into it at some point.
