Thread: Is it considered "harrassment"

    Default Is it considered "harrassment"

I know endless attacks or getting beat up endlessly is no reason to report harrassment, but I gotta ask since its happening: If someone sends an obviously newly hired hero (level1) with 1 ballista and the minimum amount of workers it takes to bring that ballista to your city a great distance away like 100+ miles so that the attack takes 15 hours, then either simply lets it get destroyed and resends another immediately or recalls that one and sends another 15 hour attack and keeps your bird flashing endlessly without actually sending an attack of substance does it fall under the purview of "tough crap, its a war game, don't whine about being attacked" or is that considered harassment?

If this is in the wrong spot delete it, thanx.

This has been asked before. It is incredibly annoying, but does not qualify as harassment.
It's within the rules, and in the end it poses no real danger.

So things that are very "harrassing" are not considered harassment if the game allows it. . . lovely. Two can play at that game then.

I wouldn't say it poses no danger. If it is done long enough that the person gets used to seeing the flashing bird and thus doesn't check his reports OFTEN, then someone could sneak a real attack in without the person seeing it coming. The flashing bird becomes "the Boy who Cried Wolf"

"People once believed, that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens, that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes the crow could bring that soul back to put the wrong things right"

Instead of workers, use a transport and the Camp time feature.

It is possible to get a birdie flashing for over 270 hours, just play with your camp time and total payload for food required.

I thought they Nerfed that, that the bird would no longer flash during Camp time, just during the actual true March time?

The bird doesn't flash during the camp time anymore, read the proclamation at the login screen.

LMFAO at people who send 270 hour attacks thinking they've activated someone's bird when they really haven't.

The "howdy" attacks are annoying, but more and more it is being used as a strategy to keep people from going into holiday mode. If you have a target who uses Holiday Mode on occasion or you know they are planning on going away for a while; sending a 12 day attack will mean they cannot step away from the game. It is an annoying strategy but sadly being used more and more.

Truce is supposed to work anytime, but "en route" attacks still hit your city.

However there's some dispute as to whether it's working this way or not. It might work that way on older servers, but not newer servers. Or maybe vice versa that. There's some confusing posts about it on the forums, and I have had the opportunity to test this one way or the other.
