lol, to be accurate you'd need to say "Good riddance to a few of the 1000s of botters"

You're a pipe dreamer Kovacs, not all the botters got banned, and you'll NEVER see all of them banned, its not possible. AND even IF they did you'll still lose to a cheater who multi accounts or shares, they MAY catch the dumb ones that download bots from google, or don't understand IP addressing and proxies, but many many computer literate people DO (and to those people I'm not revealing anything, and to those who don't get it, they probably never will). Just like Kovacs will always get on and put a "Good riddance to botters" on every bot thread even though amazingly enough, a few days later theres another thread like this. Ever heard of a "cat and mouse game" people? saying "good riddance to botters" is like heralding the arrival of Norton antivirus 2000 as "good riddance to viruses"

IMHO cracking down on those who cheat poorly without a method to stop ALL cheaters simply helps the more advanced cheaters obtain a GREATER advantage. And yes there is a method to stop bots (captchas! hello! any body home? think McFly! Think!) Did I say McFly? i mean Evony!
