I also believe that advertising "rep back"s is the same as asking for rep. It's basically asking for rep by offering the incentive of rep. It's a loophole or technicality, but I think it qualifies.

The rules state that you can give anyone reputation AS LONG AS it is not for spamming, flaming, or any other things. They can give you reputation for: helping, asking for it, and others.

I try to keep my name out of the rep I give incase of repbacks. It's nice to see others who feel the same way.

I started putting I only rep back green because it prevents those random grey rep people from saying things like "I rep you, you got lots a posts. Rep me plz."

Well I sign most of my reps. Not all, but most.

Not because I want a "rep-back," but I know I like to see who gave me rep when i look at my CP page.
I should note, that I rarely see actual "rep-back"s even from people that advertise it in their sigs.
