lol, I'm not hating... I focused on prestige for a while because I was tired of watching my ranking slip day after day, and being ranked 150 positions below my warlord was a bit embarrassing. One city was much nicer anyway... but I couldn't compete with those on my server with 20+million troops... needed my other 130 barracks back.
I'll take a real read and see if you discovered, and/or improved upon some of the tricks I noticed.
For my money, anyone above 1 million prestige is equal... maybe lower. I knew at 450k prestige 95%+ of what I know at 4mil. As for rankings... no. 1 isn't important at all... in fact, there's only two ways to get to such a position on advanced servers: 1) cheating; and 2) prestige... mastering. Neither of which make a good player.
Oh... as for Floyd... okay I hate to admit he's good, but I'd have given your post much more credibility if you'd mentioned Pacquiao. Pacquiao is 5x the fighter Floyd ever was.
EDIT: Gotta love the forums keep going down. I just lost a masterpiece of additions for you re farming prestige. dammit. Okay... can't be bothered to repeat it in such details so here's the summary version:
1. Total number of townhall levels dictates your prestige per action. You'll get 1/10th of the prestige per action if you have 10 level 10 cities, compared to just one city. So the first step is to reduce your cities. If you have too many heroes to go down to 1 city, then build skeleton cities which have the townhall capped at level 2 (I think) and a feasting hall of level 9/10 to store heroes. You can build a level 9/10 rally point in these if desired.
2. Faster Troop Building. Building troops gives you prestige. Building mad numbers of troops gives you ridiculous prestige. Focus on one hero, and level that hero as much as possible, until 432-attack, at which point you can build warriors instantly.
3. Warriorbombing. Bombing a level 8 NPC can provide 2.5x the prestige of hitting a level 10 NPC and receiving low losses.
Kronyx, if you want to add those points, in your own style, to your first post in this thread, then I'm happy to remove them from my post.
