OK, First you can get up to 300,000 + prestige each level 10 NPC hit.
What you need:
A attack level 300+ hero
A town with level 1 Town Hall, and level 10 rally spot, and only that one town, you can't have any other towns while doing this. (Get a friend to hold your other towns while you make your prestige run)
Food for 800,000+ for a few hours
5 level 10 NPCs as close as possible, or 4 level 10 NPCs, depending on distance, they take 1 hour to regen between hits
Lots of archers, and scouts, and assorted meat.
You will lose up to 36k archers per hit, but gain 300k pres per hit if you do.
The mix I use is:
90k archers (you lose 18K-36k per hit)
6k scout (use lose 3-4k per hit)
1k war
999 workers
1k pike
1k sword
1 cav
Notes: The more troops you lose the more prestige you get. Rarely you lose 36K arch after medic, and get up to 305K pres., normally you get 170-180k prestige and lose 18k arch, as is normal on level 10 hits you lose all the meat but not all the scouts.
Why it works: The divisor in the prestige calculation is the total levels of all your town halls combined, so 1 town with a level 1 Town Hall has a divisor of 1. 2 level 10 Town Hall towns have a divisor of 20, get the idea?
Also you cannot build an academy in a level 1 Town Hall town, so you have no techs. This means more troops die, but that also means you get more prestige.
Hints: Build lots of archers and scouts before starting, the ratio is about 9.8 prestige per archer lost. So to get 5 million prestige in one day, you need 600k archers, remember you need a base of 90k archers each run, so over 500K archers will be lost yielding 5 million prestige. Your results may vary. And depending on how close together your level 10s are, you can do this in a few hours.
Update: Further testing shows buffs (in this case a war horn) actually increases the prestige per archer ratio to 11.5 or so. Thanks to Henryxx for contributing this.
Update: Cutting the number of Swords and Pikes to 250 each and adding archers in their place seems to work just as well too, and saves on swords and pikes.
