Thread: I don't understand...

    Thumbs down I don't understand...

I don't understand why the basic issues that are going on in this game right now were not sorted out before the game was even launched. "Did not expect the volume of players we received?" This game has enough space on each servers maps for 10x more than the players it has. Aside from the fact that you are ADVERTISING YOUR GAME. How can you not expect more when that is the case?

I don't understand why we get a long heart felt letter in game about the mistakes that you've made that we already know about. We aren't stupid. We know it wasn't your "intention" to have these things happen, so why tell us? And in the same letter mentioning the bugs and fixes that are going down you also add that you're adding new content? That's like putting perfume on a pile of dog poop. As a matter of fact...not even perfume, Axe. Oh and telling us that you just now hired an English speaking liaison because communication was hard for you before was a big mistake...very unprofessional.

I don't understand why ANYONE in their right mind would allow somebody to pay them REAL money in a game to, A. purchase items that are extremely overpriced making the amulets the only intelligent purchase available, B. Not even be able to use these items half the time because of the server downtime/lag issues, and C. buy coin that has a TERRIBLE coin to dollar ratio making the overpriced items even more overpriced. Come on guys...almost $10 for a SPEAKER package? lol...

I have read here and there about some people who paid money (and some who said that IF they would have paid real money) would entertain the idea of a class action lawsuit for the money they spent on this game...honestly with the way things are going right now it wouldn't be a bad idea if it were even possible. I'd have to ask a lawyer to know for sure. It just blows me away that somebody would have the audacity to request money for a game that has more downtime/lag than uptime.

These are just things I think about several times a day due to the horrible management of this game. Admins you can talk all you want in this thread and in game mail but you've just dug your hole deeper and deeper without even knowing it. And you know as well as everyone else reading this that I'm not the only one feeling this way. I know game releases are hectic, I've played many. And I know that me not knowing very much about technical information regarding games doesn't make me very credible but...I do have common sense and a hot head.

    TL;DR:

    $5 for 50 coins lolololol

    That's the thing I don't get...

They have a massive advertising campaign all over the internet, and they're surprised that they got a lot of users?

I don't understand why they can't bother to tell us what's going on why server 3 won't stay up or how long they expect it to be down. It was a nice, pretty letter, but they don't really care at all.

I played a similar game years ago prior to the launch of WoW. I think there were around 250,000 players during the hay day of the game and 6 months prior to the official launch of the game there were live tests with 10,000 people being done. This game, in around a month, has twice the amount. This game is basically still being tested and bugs fixed. I am guessing they would have been ecstatic with having 50,000 players at this point, let alone 500,000. Buying or building better servers and the code to handle the amount of players took more time then they would ever have thought, let alone the other issues they have had to deal with.

I am happy they are stating they are working on the issues which are commonly stated in the forums; they are at least trying to work out all of the issues in which are brought to there attention and trying to show they are listening to the players.

I only used WoW as it was a major turning point in the game I played. And no, not much has changed. That game was developed by an Indian (not Native American) whose residence was in America. This game was developed by Chinese.

Also, feed those hamsters well, my cat is hungry.
