Taking defences down

I am curious.....how do you deal with gates open (lets say1mil troops) and full wall defences?

My tech is maxed.

As I understand you want to spam with small cav/warr waves to get rid off abatis and traps. Will 8x waves do the trick?

When this is done you want to try target? Troops or AT?

If AT how? I have an idea what to do with 400k archers but not clued on AT.

I only have experience w/gates closed.

Send 5k scouts and a mob of cav and they will indeed do damage.
