    Default Level 10 NPC, Layers?

Im having difficulty trying to find that "Sweet Spot" with the layering on farming a level 10 NPC.

I've got a 197 atk hero and I've tried many different layerings and my losses have been from 10k archers - 6k archers, was wondering what some of you others send to get even lower archer losses.

    Thanks in advance.

Until your attack hero is above 250 you need more layering. I would suggest trying one of these two methods.

    1. 94k archers, 1k pike, 1k sword, 1k scout, 1k warriors, 2k trans

    2. 84k archers, 10k ballista, 1k pike, 1k sword, 1k scout, 1k warriors, 2k trans

Had my best results so far today using 94k archers, 1k swords, 1k pikes, 1k scouts, 1k warriors, and 2k transporters (the first method listed by Qaneh).
My hero attack was at 222 for this hit, so maybe this will help you a bit. All relevant techs are at 10.

just tried your recommended method that you list on your guide WN1Hit: 92000 Archers, 6900 Scouts (4900 if sending Transporters), (2000 transporters if not sending extra scouts), 30 pikeman, 30 swordsman, 40 workers, and 1000 warriors. Sent the 2k transporters because i'm using this to farm npc 10s, not capture.
Hero was 2 points higher when attacking as well, so it went from a 222 to a 224. Hero in the npc was the same.
Had horrible losses. My worst so far... I mean no offense, but I would advise doing some more attempts with lower lvl heroes before posting that method as the recommended method.

    What I send (I lose between 4.5k and 6.5k per attack with a 315 attack hero, 5.5k and 7.5k with a 200 attack hero):

    Worker: 999
    Warrior: 999
    Scout: 1
    Pike: 999
    Sword: 1,000
    Archer: 94,000
    Cav: 1
    Phrac: 1
    Xporters: 2,000

It's a pain, but it works well.

    2k workers,warriors
    4k scouts
    90k archers
    2k transports
I usually lose all the warriors and workers, half of the scouts and 5k archers.
    However sometimes some warriors survive

My hero was a level 127 that time and was going against a level 50 hero, i see that you set off all the traps, but usually when you do that you will lose lots.

indeed. i don't know for sure, but it might be because my compass is at 10? I did notice that it went from lasting only 13 rounds in my first hit up to 14 rounds when I used your method. Not exactly an expert at the battle mechanics of the game though, so I'm really not sure why that happened (other than a difference in compass lvl?). You can't see it from the report pic, but the hero in the npc was the same in both attacks: lvl 2. But I've got time, and could use the extra lumber so i'll conquer and let you know what the defending heroes attack is at after I finish just to make sure that that wasn't the factor.
